My lovely daughter, Kris, posed a question regarding my last post. She wanted to know where you would shop to find the materials to use in creating the universe. I would think that you could find everything required at BIG BANG LOTS.

Why We Aren't Going Back To Arizona This Winter.

There are two reasons that AZ lost out to FL this time.

Reason #1: The big green bus only gets about 8mpg, and it's 2500 miles out and 2500 miles back. You do the math.

Reason #2: Sue was almost eaten by a giant Arizona tumbleweed last year. Luckily, I had a can of Tumbleweed-Be-Gone with me at the time.

After having watched Josh Cribbs do amazing things as a quarterback at Kent State, I am not too surprised to see what he has accomplished in three years in the NFL. From an undrafted, free agent to a starter in this year's Pro Bowl in Hawaii, he has continued to show the talent and determination that has been his trademark since peewee football. Congratulations Josh!! And also, GO BROWNS!! Sorry, Kris, but I have to predict a Cleveland victory over your Bengals on Sunday that will guarantee the Browns a spot in the playoffs. I feel that Mr. Cribbs is about due for another touchdown return(or two).

Here are a couple of recent pictures of the barbershop quartet that I sing with. We are based in the general Akron, OH area and enjoy singing for groups large and small. We sang as a part of the Larry Wilgus' Christmas Spectacular, at the Akron Civic Theater on Dec. 7, 8 and 9. Our name is Clear Choice (Left to right; Dan, Ray, Jim and Bill)

Snow is ok, but only for a day or two.

OK, the snow came down, it looked nice and now it can go away. I don't like having to dig to find my car and my short-legged dog can't find a shallow place to do his business. This is a good reminder why Sue, Wickett and I go somewhere warm to spend the winter. 19 more days and we three will jump in the old Gulfstream Sun Voyager and head for North Fort Myers, FL. By January 8th, we should be soaking up the sunshine. Then, the closest that we will get to snow will be news stories or emails from friends and family.
