No, not that John Edwards. (anyway he's John Edward)
This John Edwards.(in blue, against Alabama) The basketball player from Hudson, OH who went to the NCAA tournament twice with Kent State, and then spent some years with Indiana and Atlanta in the NBA. Here is a brief update.
January 6, 2009-acquired by Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA Developmental League.
Played with Sioux Falls until released(injury) on March 6, 2009. Average about 9 ppg and a little over 6 rebounds/game.
Acquired by Iowa Energy of the NBADL on March 26. Again averaged about 9 ppg through the rest of the season and scored 13 points in a first round playoff game.
So, for all of you who have been wondering about John, this should ease your minds a bit.
Brain Teaser-Why is the Fort Wayne entry in the NBADL called the MAD ANTS?
