Two houses on Erie Street were torn down recently. This is the start of a series of house demolitions that will make way for the construction of the Esplanade walkway extension connecting the KSU campus with downtown. I hope that the construction plans include hand rails along the walkway to aid those returning to campus on Friday and Saturday nights.
