- After graduating from Kent State University, I spent the next 35 years opening the minds of young people to the wonders of science (well, I tried). After retiring seven years ago, I now spend a lot of time singing barbershop music with The Akron Derbytown Chorus, playing guitar and rooting for Cleveland sports teams as well as the KSU Golden Flashes. I also enjoy traveling in the family motor home with my wife and best friend, Sue, and Wickett, our 15 year old puppy. We enjoy the Spring, Summer and Fall in Ohio, then go to Florida for the January to April period.
