Yesterday NPR's "Fresh Aire" featured an interview with Astrid Kirchherr, a German photographer who worked with the Beatles in Hamburg and was engaged to Stuart Sutcliffe. She knew the Beatles before Ringo came along, and when she mentioned Pete Best, I was reminded of the autographed photo that's currently hanging in our computer room. :o)
